Earlier this year, our then Chair of the Board at Dr Bell’s, Sarah Gunn organised a Fundraising Ceilidh. Martin Wishart kindly donated a generous raffle prize of a Michelin Star evening’s dinner, for 10 lucky guests and they were served their winning Michelin Star meal last Wednesday the 25th of April.
Like most charities Dr Bell’s Family Centre relies heavily on fundraising and we are always incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by supporters like Martin Wishart and His Team. Giving time, services and money is all so much appreciated and allows us to continue providing the much-needed services to our families, including Creche, Summer Programme and much much more.
Fundraising helps to raise money but it also helps to raise awareness of the work we do in our community of #Leith to the families our services support as well as those who can offer in-kind donations. As well as raising over £8,000, the main aim of the Ceilidh Fundraiser was to increase awareness to businesses or individuals who can help us with the much needed upgrade of our IT Systems.
